My Mindful Food Philosophy

I am a Registered Dietitian and I truly believe that for all of us the best meal choices involve real food, that is minimally processed, and as much as possible locally sourced.  Within these parameters, we can all be certain to find nourishing, appetizing foods that will meet any dietary needs or restrictions.  After a great deal of research and experimentation, I have found that for me a low-carbohydrate, high fat, ketogenic diet is the one that allows me to mindfully maintain maximum health, to feel and look my best, and perform well at whichever activities I choose. 

That is not to say that this is the optimal choice for everyone, but if you are facing challenges with:

  • Diabetes

  • Metabolic Syndrome

  • Obesity

  • Gluten Intolerance

then a well-balanced, low carbohydrate lifestyle may be perfect for you as well.
